Laura Kennemer has served as Quinlan’s City Secretary since May 2013 and is a member of the Texas Municipal Clerks Association. Kennemer attended Ford High School and holds an Associate of Science degree from Collin County Community College where she was also a member of Phi Theta Kappa. 

Kennemer and her husband Charles enjoy spending time with their two sons and three grandchildren.  They are both active in their local church and also work with Christian based organizations that help adults who are overcoming addictions or homelessness. Kennemer’s hobbies include scrapbooking, stamping, reading, fishing, and mudding.
