Quinlan Independent School District
Quinlan Independent School District (QISD) is comprised of four campuses that house an enrollment of approximately 2,500 students and serves the municipalities of Quinlan, West Tawakoni, Hawk Cove, and Union Valley.Quinlan ISD is also very involved in the community and provides a wide array of resources, including a free Fitness Center, Community Library and Museum Center, low-priced community meeting rooms, inexpensive Community Education programs and much more. Higher Education
The Quinlan area is within an easy commute to several community colleges which include Paris Junior College in Greenville, Trinity Valley Community College in Terrell, and Eastfield College in Mesquite. Quinlan ISD has also partnered with Paris Junior College to offer students the opportunity to pursue an associate’s degree for free while attending high school. This includes tuition, fees, books, and transportation.Located approximately 35 miles from Quinlan is Texas A&M University–Commerce, a public research college that is composed of five academic colleges awarding degrees in over 100 diverse disciplines. With an enrollment of over 12,000 students the university is the third largest institution in the Texas A&M University System.
